Video “Despacito” was uploaded on Jan 12, 2017 and now it has crossed 3.7 B views on YouTube, views are still counting. Not only video but music has been crafted extremely well. Justin Bieber along with collaboration of Luis Fonsi, sang for the first time in his life in Spanish. Video was released by Universal Music Latin, Republic Records, Def Jam Recordings, RBMG and school Boy Records. Though there was no changing in Rhythms but few lines were translated in English by Luis Fonsi. Daddy Yankee’s verses were kept in music video, it was first collaboration between Daddy Yankee, Justin Bieber and Luis Fonsi. New audio version got 20 Million views on YouTube in just 24 hours which became highest debut video in 2017.

Despacito became the fifty-fourth video to reach 1 billion views on April 20, 2017, doing so in 97 days, twelfth video to reach 2 billion views on June 16, 2017, doing so in the fastest time – 154 days; first video to reach 3 billion views on August 4, 2017, doing so in the fastest time – 204 days;[10] currently Vevo’s most viewed video with over 3.7 billion views and YouTube’s most liked video with over 21.1 million likes as of September 2017

Song was collaboratively written by American Song writers Jason Boyd and Marty James and Canadian super star Justin Bieber, Colombian musician Juan Felipe Samper was initially hired to help them to sing in Spanish. The song was recorded in Bogotá, Colombia on April 13, 2017, just four days before its release.
